1. Different uses. The main raw materials of producing circuit board are alkali - free glass cloth, fiber paper and epoxy resin. Fiberglass sheet: base material glass fiber cloth. Epoxy sheet: adhesive is epoxy resin. FR4: base material cotton fiber paper. All three are fiberglass sheets.

2. Different colors. Usually the epoxy boards on the market are phenolic epoxy, yellow. They are not used as hard circuit board base material for electrical insulation. FR4 is NEMA standard pure epoxy plate. The normal color is dark green, and this is the color of epoxy. There are also yellow. Generally speaking, yellow FR4 is called yellow material, white (green) called white material. FR4 is more expensive than epoxy plate. The price of fiberglass sheet cannot be confirmed.

3. Different properties. Fiberglass board has sound absorption, sound insulation, heat insulation, environmental protection, flame retardant and other characteristics. FR-4 is also known as fiberglass sheet, FR4 reinforcing plate, FR-4 epoxy resin board or flame retardant insulating board; Epoxy sheet is FR4 light plate, epoxy glass cloth board or board drilling pad.

For Epoxy sheet and fiberglass sheet, their molecular structure contains active epoxy groups, and can be cross-linked with a variety of curing agents to form insoluble, non-melting polymers with a three-way network structure.
