Epoxy Glass Fiber Winding Pipe is a special glass fiber sleeve made by weaving glass fiber into a tube and then undergoing high-temperature shaping treatment.

Processing method of glass fiber sleeve:

1. Compound fiber winding processing technology (belonging to the fixed length method): In this processing method, the dipping tank reciprocates with the rotating mandrel, and the long fiber glass fiber is placed at a certain degree of oblique angle relative to the mandrel axis. The auxiliary angle (i.e. the winding angle) is controlled by the ratio of the moving speed of the dipping tank and the rotation speed of the mandrel, and the translational movement of the dipping tank is controlled by computerized electromechanical control. The number of winding layers is gradually increased until the customized wall thickness is achieved. After the winding is completed, the epoxy resin in the product is basically dried. After drying, the mandrel is removed from the glass fiber sleeve. (Glass fiber casing)

2. Glass fiber casing continuous fiber winding process (belongs to the continuous method): This process is that the glass fiber casing tube passes through the feeding station that provides epoxy resin pre-impregnated roving, chopped fiberglass fiber and resin sand mixture during movement. The glass fiber casing tube is made while the core mold is continuously moving forward.

3. Centrifugal casting process (belongs to the fixed length method): In this process, the cut glass fiber reinforcement material and sand are fed into a steel mold fixed on the bearing, and the unsaturated resin with catalyst is injected at one end of the steel mold to impregnate the reinforcement material. Under the influence of centrifugal force, the epoxy resin replaces the air in the fiber and filler, thereby creating a non-porous dense composite material. Due to the effect of centrifugal force, the inner wall of the tube forms a smooth, bright and epoxy-rich inner surface layer, and the pipe is cured under relatively high conditions. The tube produced by this method is also called glass fiber sand-filled tube.

The main reason is that the glass fiber sheathing manufactured by the reciprocating fiber winding process has a wider range of uses and a more suitable scope of application.
