Epoxy board processing production technology
Epoxy board processing, also known as epoxy glass fiber board or epoxy phenolic laminated glass cloth board, refers to organic polymer compounds containing two or more epoxy groups in the molecule. Except for a few, their relative molecular weight is not high.

Epoxy resin boards are used to make gears. They are not only highly elastic, but also have no noise at high speeds and generate less centrifugal force. In terms of chemical properties, both epoxy boards and epoxy phenolic laminates have good stability and corrosion resistance, and are not affected by acidic or oily chemicals; it can also be soaked in transformer oil and used as a component in a transformer.

1. Drilling
This is a commonly used processing method in PCB circuit board factories. Whether it is a test fixture for PCB or post-processing of PCB, it must be “drilled”. Usually, the consumables and equipment used in the drilling room are special drills, drill nozzles, rubber particles, wood pads, aluminum pads, etc.
2. Splitting
This is a common processing method in the market, and most shops have cutting machines for cutting sheets. However, this method is usually rough, and the tolerance can be controlled within 5 mm.
3. Milling machine/lathe
The products processed by various processing methods are usually parts, because milling machines and lathes are mostly used to process hardware parts. However, the slow processing speed of ordinary milling machines and lathes is a feature. When making fixtures, these two types of equipment are needed. That is to say, if thick epoxy boards are processed, milling machines and lathes are worth choosing.
4. Computer gong
Computer gong, in layman’s terms, is CNC or numerical control, also known as a machining center. The range of bevels is relatively small, while flat computer gongs are more extensive. For example, insulating washers, insulating rods and other small mechanical parts, computer gongs are used to process epoxy resin boards. The main features of computer gongs are flexibility, high speed and powerful functions, which is currently a commonly used processing method.
